In lieu of a Wedding gift…
We consider ourselves incredibly lucky and there isn’t much more that we need – we genuinely mean that! There are however a few things close to our hearts, very close in fact.
In 2015, Steve’s Mum, Anne, was diagnosed with the terminal neurological disease called Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD). It was that moment that changed our lives forever. It was impossible to think about at the time, however, it has lead to a greater appreciation of life and the people we get to share it with.
In lieu of gifts, we ask for a donation to be made to the CJD Support Group Network. Donations made via the link below will form a research grant to fund studies investigating potential diagnostic and treatment strategies for this and similar neurological diseases.
We appreciate your support and look forward to sharing our special night with you.
