CJD T-Shirt “And So I Ran…”

Become a part of Team Prion and help promote awareness of CJD and other prion diseases by wearing your #andsoIran T-shirt.

And so I ran……………logo was created by Kristen Turner who has lost 9 family members to genetic CJD. No matter how tough life gets, take to the pavement to clear your head and create awareness and help support our dedicated prion disease researchers in Australia who are striving to find a treatment or cure.

Join us this November for the City2Search or just run or walk regularly in your T-shirt to help promote the work of the CJD Support Group Network and awareness of CJD #seaoforange.

Team Prion has been successful over the last 3 years with many orange T-shirts dotted throughout the run, and MASSIVE fundraising efforts. We are committed to raising awareness of the group of rare neurodegenerative diseases known as Prion Diseases, the most common of which is Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease.(CJD). We have also raised much needed funds to support prion research within Australia, by participating in The Sunday Age City2Sea each November in Melbourne. Our team is comprised of families who have been directly affected by these diseases, as well as dedicated staff from the surveillance and research teams. Other satellite teams have met up to run or get together on the same weekend.
